Just wanted to give a big shout out to DocT for hooking me up with an excellent deal. Got a fully loaded LX570 for a little over $89K (about 8.7% off sticker). However, I do have to wait a while for the car to arrive. So yes, there are deals to be made!

I have almost finalized a deal on a wht/blk 98 msrp LX but all my dealer will do is 5500 off and deliver. I have seen on this thread as much as 9 off how is that possible my dealer is assuring me that is below cost and end of year hold back. This dealer seems honest and is 500 more on the discount than any other dealer within 5 hours drive time. Most dealers I have called are around 4-5 off and that's only been a few most say no discount or they do not even have any in stock!

got one
That is true here in Southern California just got one. White with the tan leather. I got slaughter pretty bad by Newport . They make me get their wheel package and tack on 4.5k plus MSRP 98k. But they do 3 year prepaid maintainace included in the price for me so give and take. I work 16 hours + daily so not like I can spend days or months waiting or searching. Give and take.. There are no white ones available at all Lexus dealer around here there And those who got a white one wont budge on the pricing.

97 sticker, everything except glass breaking sensor black on red for 89.5. Seems many dealers are willing to sell on invoice. Originally I got 89.5 for a 95 car but the other dealer only had one with the tv monitors and offered to match deal. Definitely go shop around!

I take a different tack. I look for a 2-4 year truck with great maintenance records. Once I buy one, I'm ahead $30-40K or more. So I really owe a major "thank you very much" to folks who buy new, eat a few years of depreciation, and sell.
This thread explains that theory... http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/talk...please.903179/

I feel your pain. Likewise back in 2013 when we got our white LX570 with tan interior with all options. But we acted like in no hurry. As matter of fact, thd search took almost a whole year while we were tooling around in our aging 2000 LX470 with 280K+miles. Finally pull the trigger when the price met our target.
No regrets at all. Love the LX570.
