The previous body style is a winner: it will age a lot better. OTH, that 2016 model schnozzle will get old real fast

We were in the same boat (ie. wanting a 15 instead of taking a hit on the 16).... until we saw the 16. Wowzer! It's a SEXY car. the gadgetry and features are in a diff. ballpark when compared to the 15 (not to mention the completely redesigned ext.). The '15 looks ...uumm.... kind 'a ho hum compared to the 16. The 16 just looks sexy and very commanding.

The '16 interior esp. the dash and nav is just awesome!

Any update on how much off the MSRP is a good deal? I've been seeing 5-6k off. Anyone getting that?

What's the word? Have you found the car at the price you're looking to pay?

Got $5k off somewhere in the midwest, but it is not normal.

Hey, I bought the 2015 last week. I haven't heard of discounts with the 16.

A friend of mine just purchased a '16 for $6500 off MSRP!! He's in FL. Bummer - otherwise I'd have jumped on it too.

Anyone getting anything close to that off?

For $6500 off, I'd consider flying out to Florida and getting some good break-in mileage on your new Landcruiser on the way back to Texas

I've done that twice and I'd do it again. Definitely worth the money.

LX's and Land Cruisers are not the same as Corollas. You won't see 20-30 for sale and they're not on every corner, nor city. If you know what you want in colors, that's 90% of your search.
Get a loan commitment or have your down payment ready to go. I was on a plane the day after dealership gsm confirmed by email my cash offer. Left home at 5am, got to the dealer at 10. Checked the truck and maintenance records and pip done by local Toyota dealer. Endorsed the check, hopped in the truck, and I was home early the next morning. Save many $$$$.

They offer lease prices for the few buyers that actually use a 200 for work. Leases mainly go to those who can't afford a down payment. Some buyers feel that their vehicle is integral to their identity, so this lets them drive a vehicle that they couldn't qualify to buy.

I think if you called the dealer, you'll get a myriad of finance rates...predominately based on your credit score. Lower score = higher interest and down payment. When I financed cars or trucks in the past, my credit union's rate smoked anything the dealer could offer.

2 dealers in northern NJ who are known for being aggressive on price have offered me invoice on in stock vehicles (all of which are white, black or silver with parchment interiors). I am looking for silver/cabernet and both refused to discount any incoming or ordered models with cabernet leather for more than $2000. Have people been having similar experiences, or are these guys just playing games knowing what color combo I am looking for.

Most likely, it is a supply/demand issue. Silver/cabernet combo is a novelty with Lexus, many potential buyers want it and can't get it. So,the dealers think that can get more out of it than invoice and make a better profit. Once its on the ground and in stock, it is the time to go to the dealership and negotiate face to face.
