I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Our brand new 2015 LX 570 has a built in foot rest on the drivers side. The carpet does not fit the foot rest snugly so when you rest your foot on it, it actually "pushes in" about an inch before the carpet reaches the foot rest underneath. Our service tech tells us this is just the design of the carpet and there is nothing they can do. Are they really all like this? The RX loaner they gave did not have the same problem and the carpet molded perfectly to the foot rest Thanks for any feedback!

I might try a little Velcro or double-sided tape between the carpet and floor board. You could also replace the plastic push-nut at the top of the dead pedal with a metal washer and metal locknut.

My foot rest on my 2015 LX does not have this problem. None of my LX units did.
