Default New LX owner (Future owner) 24" wheels???

Hey all, never posted in this forum before, first time LX owner, getting the 2016 model.

Problem is, it is really hard to find good 24" wheels. Anyone know somewhere with a big line up?

Cheers

You sure the 24" will not be too big for the wheel wells?

I was cruising through EBay yesterday, searching to see if a LX rear fog lamp would drop-fit into my Land Cruiser...anyway, try a search for new LX or Land Cruiser parts in the automotive section. You might have to go down half a dozen pages before you see wheels.

Realize with almost no tire cross section, thin tires that fit 24's will be worthless on any wet or dry dirt roads, crappy on snow, and give you low mileage between tire changes.

Steve
Do you plan on slamming the truck, too?

I just bought a Land Cruiser and the 24" wheels fit fine.

Please tell me where I will be going off-road in Japan? It never snows where I live and I don't give a **** about mileage.

So please remind why I should not get 24" wheels for my car?

I only asked if they would fit!

24's will fit fine, your question was where they could be obtained, and I thought I answered that.

No ideas here (nor interest) as to where you might go off-road in Japan.

No one buying an LC or LX gives a ****e as to mileage.

I think you should get anything that please you, but read and understand MGVW numbers and make sure your tires have a weight rating equal to or exceeding the MGVW label on the inside of your front door.

Have fun.

OP just noted, as opposed to the first post in this thread, that the 24's will fit.

Context and comprehension may be an issue, but I'd attribute more to overall excitement with a new ride.

What was the need for the sarcastic remark? "Do you plan on slamming the truck, too? "

I am hardly overly excited by getting this car, it is for my wife to drive not me. She wants a car to lug the dogs around. Me, I prefer the S63 AMG.

The ones on the cruiser should fit on the LX? Go to www.ih8mud.com you will find your answer there.

Bolt patter, bolt diameter, and setback are the same.

There may be more off road activity in Japan than OP realizes...

Where would these off-road activities be? An article about the history of Toyota really does not show me anything.

24 is so old school. I'm looking to get 28 for my truck. I think it it just looks so much better on 28, besides I can kick some serious *** when going off-road with my buddies.
