Most expensive Lexus ever built? What happened to LFA, and for that much money why wouldn't I get a range rover instead?

Simple, LR vehicles are not in the same zip code as TOY in terms of reliability. And this is from personal experience.

It does not have enough horsepower or torque for the pricepoint. It should be 600ftlb torque and 550 hp

Simple...

You'd probably want it to last a bit past the warranty. Maybe??

Because you need to buy at least two RRs - one to drive to service and another one from service

I don't get why this was posted again?
This is old news. They introduced it over a year ago for the 2014MY around April 2014 and only made 200 or so and it has been discontinued since. They never made them for 2015MY.
Since then people have been transforming the look of their regular LX 570's to make them look like the supercharged version which makes it seem like they made a large amount.

Just because it's supercharged, doesn't mean it won't last.

I'm guessing it's a TRD Roots Style blower? I personally prefer the TwinScrew design.

Anyways, nice power house, let's see if they really build it.

You guys are just talking about reliability? My 2013 LX570 has been great but it still handles like a school bus and the brakes are horrible. For $90k the interior lacks a real leather dash or anything to make it look like $90k. I love the truck but they need new interior designers from Europe.
My new full size Range Rover with 510hp handles like a car, it's very fast, brakes are huge, and interior is sexy.
I've seen the supercharged LX570 many times in Dubai and I'm so sad! The interior is the same, same small brakes, same everything except a body kit and more power. It's not lower or wider wheels and tires.

Smoked headlights

Clear tail lights

Supercharger badge

Nice TRD supercharger

$170k you get regular wheels with black paint, no monoblocks special wheels. Notice the very small brakes for the added power? They could have atleast installed the TRD big brakes. The argument is why high price tags and the important parts and designs are left out?

Same dash full of plastic for $170k

Thumbs down

From the pics posted, it's sickeningly Escalade-esq.

Like the Escalade, though, it may indeed bring a bit of the ghetto to suburbia.
