2008 LX570 Aftermarket Bluetooth
Hey guys. I just bought at 08 LX570. I took it to my normal "car radio" guys to have a bluetooth audio pieced added. They are, apparently, an "AudioVox" dealer and so spec'ed the AudioVox/DICE mediabridge 1500. Three days later, they say they have no answers from AudioVox and are just "giving up" and removing the piece.
Has anyone had any success with this? I love the idea of havind direct charging for my Android Phone in the center console and the steering wheel controls that the VAISTech unit doesn't provide.
Any advice, thoughts, or comments woudl be greatly appreciated.
I've only had it about 3 weeks, but loving the LX so far.

Thanks for the response. I was looking at the photo, and it didn't look as though it had a USB port for an iPhone / Android. I may be wrong, but didn't see anything on the website about USB or direct iPhone/Android connection or charging. Have you seen one? That would be great it it did. I don't really know how you get the "official" VAISTech person on these forums to respond.

vaistech is a vendor here on clublexus, you can pm them.
you can also email info@vaistech.com. eugene is very nice and friendly and he can answer any of your question. i haven't sold a sl3b so far (my clients have gone either sl3i or ivic) but i remember from talking to eugene that the unit does have usb port
you can also see from their installation manual (page 4)
http://www.vaistech.com/manuals/Manual_SL3B.pdf
and it shows the usb port specifically listed for charging only
so it looks like you can hide the unit, run an usb extension to center console or any place of your preference charge your phone, and connect through BT

RominI thank you so much! I'll put one on order. Does Vais do special pricing for the forum members? This is my first post and I really appreciate the assistance.
