Default Test drove a 14 LX today

I took our GS in for service today and ended up finding a black on tan 2014 LX570 that caught my eye. I have been casually looking at the Land Cruiser and LX recently. After moving my son's car seat over to the LX, we took it for a quick test drive. I like the size of the LX. The amount of interior space and 3 rows of seating is a huge plus. My 2011 Range Rover has the factory rear seat entertainment option that my son dearly loves, so that is also a great plus on the LX. The semi-aniline leather is fantastic, but I think Lexus needs to line the LX's interior with more. The dashpad and upper door panels are the places that appear to be lacking.
I loved the red mahogany wood. Absolutely beautiful. I think the bottom seat cushion extender, power rear lift-gate, power rear middle seat, power third row folding seat and the Lexus service experience make it the better option when compared to the Land Cruiser. Really, the Lexus service experience alone makes it worth the extra $10k in my opinion.

Right off the bat, the dealer offered $5k off msrp of $91,xxx. I've read where customers are getting $9k off. Is it common to get $9k off with out much effort?

Anyways, not sure what will materialize out of it, but for what its worth, I think the LX570 would be a great vehicle for my family.

I have a Land Cruiser and recently purchased a 2014 LX for the wife..... The LX is really nice - and the LC is a fantastic vehicle as well - but just not as luxurious as the LX....

The LC has 64k miles and drives like the day I drove it off the lot.... I hope to keep it until the wheels fall off ....

You should be able to get close to 10k off the the LX's 93k msrp..... Good Luck

I agree, the LX is definitely a great family vehicle. If the price is too high, the GX isn't much of a fall off from the LX.

Discount you get on a LX depends on the market you are in. Truecar is a website that monitors recent sales with an average discount of $5K and none @ 10k off
