Default Center console 'split' arm rest on 2014?
I noticed that this 2014 has a split center console arm rest. This should add some comfort and might also eliminate all the creaking sounds that my 2008 console lid makes!

Does anyone know what year this split lid became available and if Lexus offers it in the dark grey 2008 leather color?

I have owned most years of the LX and I can't remember one that did NOT have the split arm rest. I have never really used it and it remains in the original place.

I have it in my 2009 with dark gray leather.

Only problem is when extended it covers the cup holders...epic fail on design!

I feel there could be some sort of storage pocket under the armrests too. Personally I don't move the arm rest anyways...
