Default New LX Owner

Just picked up a 2013 LX570. Fantastic thus far. I've owned a lot of Lexus and this is the most quiet, tank-like vehicle I have ever driven. The seats are so comfortable and the power and smoothness of the car is fantastic. Would like to have a bit more storage (I have the cool box) and an ipod usb jack inside the glove box rather than by the shifter, but other than that I'm in love. I can't wait to see how this baby does in snow but if it is anything like my past LX 470's (and I"ve had many), this will be a great ride rain, snow or shine. Here is to a job well done Lexus. Very nice car indeed. I'm glad I chose this over the competition!!!!

Just got back from skiing and taking a 1000 mile road trip. My entire family (including brothers and sisters) commented on how comfortable and wonderful the car is. I have never had a car so comfortable for so long. My wife, who is not a car person, even said "this is the most comfortable car I have ever been in" and we had zero fatigue when we returned home after 7 hour drive. This was never the case with my LX470, my older LS460 or any other Lexus I have owned. I don't know what it is but the car is butter smooth, has a tank like safety feeling, is very powerful, and oh so comfortable. The only negative I have is fuel economy but what did I expect? I get 17 highway and 13 city using premium which is not too bad for a 3 ton car. Otherwise I could not be happier. Great job Lexus. I would post pictures but I don't know how. Thanks and happy new year all.

What is the color cobo that you got, mine is Mercury metallic with the upgraded black leather interior.

Same color. Great car. The more I drive it the more I love it. Really special vehicle and I've owned all the Lexus models!

Did either of you recent LX purchasers get a good deal or discount off MSRP? I recently started looking. The northern NJ dealer from whom I bought my last Lexus is not offering near the discount he did on my prior ES purchase. Thanks.

Good to hear the 570 is doing well for you. I love this car and honestly I wish I could have bought it instead of my gs, but I'm 19, 470s were still out of my range. I loved the one we had before it was traded in. Gas mileage sounds about right, ice the weather warms up it might get a little better. At least here, there is a winter mix of gasoline that for some reason leads to cars having lower gas mileage, I thought it was my driving but I've been told it was the gas

No doubt is IS the winter gas. It will cut a mile or two off your mileage.
