2013 LX570 Premium with TRD big brakes
Well after selling a few over the years I bought a 2013 LX570, the facelift is much nicer than the 08-2011 models.
I added the TRD big brakes before taking delivery and waiting on the factory Land Cruiser (has to be moded a bit) fender flares & 22" F-Sport wheels (discontinued but found some).
The only complaint about this vehicle is Lexus still don't add leather on the dash for an expensive vehicle, still too much plastic. One other thing I wish I sold my 2011 GX460 Premium, I still can't figure out how to edit my signiture w/ the new vehicles.

Very nice vehicle....you have pictures of that new 22" wheels?
BTW, do you get to keep those 20" stock wheels? If you want to sell them, I'll buy them for my Tundra if price is reasonable.

Thanks, I haven't received my last 22" wheel yet, I may sell my stocks. I want to get the R-Spec ecu to keep the suspension low when the wheels are added. It's sad most LX570 owners in the US are old people who are boring because this vehicle could have been offered with more options such as Alcantara headliner, leather dash with accent stitching, Supercharger.
The brakes are $2800 at Toyota I paid less. Brembos kit is $4500 buy they offer a rear kit, TRD should too.

How can the TRD be junk? Most are made by Toyota, in this case the brakes are made by Stoptech, which is a good company.
TRD Japan has high quality items as well, I'm guessing you're not very well educated on this stuff, do a bit more research you may change your mind for my 2011 GX premium I had Jaos fender flares, TRD brake pads all the way around, TRD filter ( 4runner fits), Steel braded brake lines. The GX460 suffers from poor braking, it has big time brake fade and sometimes on a full stop it had brake creep. Lexus kinda had a fix for it by re-adjusting the brake peddal but that didn't work. My upgrades ended solving the factory problems.

where did you get the gx fender flares? i cant find them on the jaos website.
i am not dissing your lx, i love it! it just seems these brake upgrades dont really provide better stopping power. If the rotors are larger in diameter, yes it provides more "torque" to stop the wheel when calipers squeeze.
the Lx and Gx have the same 4 piston calipers in the front, the size of the lx rotor however is .1 inch bigger. i agree brakes suck on these. are you telling me the TRD brake has more pistons? You need to upgrade your master-cylinder & brake-booster to reap full benefits of this.
also there are several threads on the topic that slotted, drilled rotors dont improve stopping power. the contact area between the pad and rotor is less on these rotors, so how could they improve stopping power? they may make the brakes cooler, i 'll give you that, but most pads need to be warm to work properly, so i dont see much benefit of this on the street.
