WHY NO 2nd Row Captain Seats?!!

Can anyone provide any reasonable explanation why Lexus refuses to put captain chairs in it's 2nd row seating? Sure would make my wife w/3 kids happy! Thanks.

Likely because it would reduce the seating from three down to two.

What I would like is them to eliminate the 3rd row seating all together!

I am afraid that neither of us will be happy on future models
