I stored some movies’ files in my iphone. I connected my iphone thru USB and AUX and could not play any movie. I had no problem playing the songs. It looks my Lexus play only songs if connect thru USB and AUX, but no movies.

The CD plays with no problem.

What is the problem? why I cannot play movies if I connect my iphone thru USB and AUX?

It was never designed to play movies via the USB!!!!!.

correct, if you want to play movies off the iphone, you will need the new vaistech products coming out

Will the USB connection charge your iPhone. Can I plug both the USB cable that came with iPhone and an audio cable in at the same time?

You can play your iPhone tunes via the USB port; however, I do not think the port will charge the phone. Also, the initial report will be that you are connecting an unsupported accessory. just ignore the message and proceed, then the NAV screen will populate with the iPhone/iPod tunes.

I have a friend who uses the USB port to charge his Blackberry so I would think this USB port is powered and would charge your device just fine.

can someone confirm this as well. with the usb connection, i would think it only makes sense if it charges the ipod/iphone (otherwise it's another stupid design)

Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought there were AV hookups in the back of the car? Just buy one of those Iphone Video AUX cables from WalMart or Best Buy. They're like $40-50 I think.. shouldn't have a problem. If you can hook up a gaming system you can watch videos off of your iphone but USB definitely won't work.
