Default Pedal travel delayed brake response 2010LX570

Only7500mi and dealer serviced.

First inch or more of pedal travel generates zero braking.

Brakes on my 460LX and 01 Landcruiser are way more responsive.

Anyone have this pedal travel and delayed brake response issue?

This is true on my 2008 LX570 as well, and there's a sensation of the break pedal deflating every time I press the pedal. I've been driving my LX570 for two years so I'm used to the feeling now. I notice it when I switch to other cars where breaking has, what has now become, amazingly good immediacy. I never asked about it, but I always thought this was related to the active/radar cruise control where another mechanism, may be hydraulic thus the deflating sensation, needs to also be able to push the break pedal.

It's not a good feeling.

Thanks for the reply. I have a call into the dealer now.

Pedal deflation is a good description.

I also plan to drive a friends to determine any pedal difference.

I drove my 01 Landcruiser this morning. Instant braking on pedal touch.

Just drove my son's 05 LX. No pedal deflation or brake delay.

Significantly different than my 2010.

Yes, noticed that too on my 08Lx,
Reported it to the dealer. but dealer says it's normal.
I still do't like the deflation on the brakes.
