If you have the glass breakage option, and your on the front window gets broken, what happens? Is there an alarm that goes off? does the motor stop? How do you silence the alarm?

I believe the car has a listening device that trips the normal alarm when it detects glass breakage. To silence it, push either the lock or unlock buttons on your fob.

My dealer tells me the alarm "hears" the glass breaking and will engage as an intrusion. The alarm would be turned off with the fob

yep... it has little microphone that listens for the sound of glass breakage. It works well. It will activate the alarm which will sound the horn and turn on blinkers.

Motor does not stop since alarm is not activated when car is working. Only when car is off and locked.
