Can't buy LX570!

Why on earth would you want to pay over MSRP??!! That is crazy...and financially wrong to do. Lexus does not allow their dealer to charge over MSRP...and you want to go in there to give money away?!! Dude, i have a bridge to sell you on Mars for only $10,000...and that is $2000 below MSRP!

Wait another 4-6 months and after the initial pre-ordered units sell the dealers will be more likely to do some dealing once the vehicles start stacking up on the lots. Paying over MSRP on something like a LX is not a very financially savy move...Unless you have money to burn. I did that on the new (then) 300C SRT-8 and learned my lesson when I lost my butt when I traded it in a few months later...Bad idea !!

If money is not an issue get a 200 series Land Cruiser now and in a few months get LX570.
In the mean time you can read all the threads related to the LX570, relax and smell the roses.

Yeah, it might require a bit of patience...good things happen to those who wait, or so the saying goes. This vehicle is not high-volume, so it may take a while especially since those with advance deposits get priority.

IMHO, some of the advance deposits in the hands of the dealers won't even turn into real sales.

I agree with the other posters. It won't be long before people are buying way below MSRP on this SUV. Lexus priced it too high compared to the outgoing 2007 model and to the competition, and the economy is looking weaker and weaker. And the closer we get to the fall, the more visible the high-mpg GL diesel will be.

The Lexus dealer could not even keep LX470 units in the showroom. So it will take a while before unsold 570s arrive.
