I picked my LX570 up last week!
I picked mine up last week! Twilight gray metallic and I LOVE it!
After 4 LX470s and four months of the LS460, the LX570 is perfect.
The extra power is nice but as heavy as this beast is, you could add a hundred more!
The dash and electronics remind me of my LS460. Added the concealed Escort radar detector and it is ready to go.

I looked under the hood to see the "new" motor.
Seems they have shrouded this one just like the LS460 and you can see little!

How does it drive in comparision to the LX470. Curious about handling and ride as well as visibility, etc.

Cornering is better. Not sure if it is the 20" wheels or the suspension but that was the very first thing I noticed. I like the ride better. The suspension feels more "elastic" or dampened. The shock/ride controls are more effective than on my 470, the controls have more of an effect on the 570. Lowering or raising the vehicle is much faster on the LX570, the hydraulics that raise and lower the vehicle are on steroids compared to the 470. The automatic lowering of the body to get out lets you step on the ground before leaving the seat rather than making a "jump for it"
I feel like I am a few inches higher, visibility is great! Still has a smaller turning radius which I loved about all of my 470s. The 570 feels and looks bigger from the driver seat to me.
I love the front body work/shape the best and the rear the least!
The bells and whistles at the helm are the best and work as expected. At last some storage room in the console. The 470's storage is tiny compared to the 570. The console is heavy duty and will take me putting a good bit of weight on it without the smallest flex. The top even adjusts for both the driver and the passenger, front and back! There is good stiff foam under the leather console cover, unlike the understuffed LS460 I drove for several months.
Drive it easy around town, 16.5 mpg. Put your foot in it and well it's on the window sticker! The brakes are excellent!
If I am not making it clear, I like the LX570. A Lot!

What about acceleration/power/transmission shifting??
I have heard multiple owners of 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser state the transmission is not as smooth and the engine is quite bit louder. I have a LX470 and think it is the smoothest and quietest automobile I have ever owned. I have a LX570 on order currently.

Congrats! I bet people are nearly running into you on the road trying to get a closer look. That happened to me all the time when I bought my LS (right when it came out)...
Enjoy and post pic's!
