Default 07 LX470 or LX570 or 08 TLC???

Hello there.

I have recently joined the post and love it. The forum provides a wealth of information from car enthusiasts such as myself.

I am in the market for a new car and debating between the 07 LX470 (yes a found a few available), LX 570 or 08 TLC.

I can get a pretty good deal on the LX470 and TLC but will most likely pay around sticker for the 570.

Do you think the 570 is worth waiting around for?

What would you guys do? I drive 4.5 hours almost every weekend from NY to Vermont in the winter time with 2 kids. I want the best ride there to make everyone happy.

But I want to be able to NOTICE the difference if I pay up for anything.

I plan on buying and keeping it for a long time since both these cars have great build qulaity. I have historically been a lease fan.

Thanks for any advice you all may have.

570 is a significant upgrade over the 470, not sure why someone would pay 68ish base for a 470 over 74k base for a totally new model 570. How old are the kids if they are little (therefore messy) a lexus maybe harder to keep clean. The 08 LC starts 63 correct? Has mileage figures been announced for the LC/LX, I would expect with the big upgrade in powertrain and modernization of the engine it will at least maintain the current mileage of the LX470, maybe even go up like the LS460 did over the LS430

Hello there,

Please check my posting using the thred below under "LX570 Pricing", https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=323633&page=2

Additionally, personal judgment to buy whether LX470, LX570 or o8 TLC has lot to do with your expectations. You may have found a fine balance between pricing and advanced technology. Of course, body styling is also a key determinant. Please be aware that due to body style change and availability of advanced technology, the depreciation value for LX470 could be potentially steep down. It is not that easy to compare TLC (Toyota Landcruiser) with Lexus LX models because TLC is not a true luxury vehicle. Even for the 2008 TLC, from my point of view, quality and craftsmanship are definitely inferior compared LX models. At the same time, I am not disagreeing with you that one might be able to pull out unbelievable deals on remaining 07 LX470s.
