Battery Light on and battery draining- help needed
Hello All,
I just purchased a 2002 LX470 about a month ago. When I first bought it the battery was dead so purchased a new battery and installed it. The issue is that when i installed the new interior LEDs and started driving around the battery light came back on and slowly drained the battery as i was driving, it died when i got home thankfully. The next day the car started right away and drove fine. Again as the day went on the battery light came back on and again the battery died. I have since removed all LEDs but did add HIDs. Again the same issue. I had the alternator checked at Tuffys and they said the alternator is fine. Anyone have any idea on what could be causing this issue? Again the only thing installed aftermarket now is the HIDs and fog lamps. Following is what i have done in terms of problem solving:
- new battery
- removed all LED lighting
- had alternator checked at Tuffys
- removed LED DRL
Please help! Thank you in advance!

If it's not your battery then check your terminals & make sure everything is grounded good. Just remember mostly everything is running of DC voltage & current flows from negative to positive. Most short circuits come from a bad ground connection
