OPEN TO ALL LEGITIMATE SUGGESTIONS.

I have a 2002 LX470 with 130,000 miles on the odometer. Looking for a solution to broken headlight mounting tabs. Had a front end fender bender and I am interested in either a repair kit or a company that I can send mine to in order to have them repaired by someone who knows exactly what they are doing. I just cannot come out of pocket for a new set. Even 2nd hand sets seem to carry new-in-box prices. This truck is 16 years old, that is a tough sell for me. Love the truck though.

I have searched the forum and I have seen reference to a "tab repair" kit or something like that which is available for a different model Lexus. I have searched and I can't find it for the LX470. Does anyone know if this even exists and, if so, what the part number is?

Open to all suggestions.

Did you report your accident to your insurance company?

I've never heard of a "tab repair" kit, but I'm always open to learn.

Lexus does not offer any repair tabs for your LX.
If you still have the tabs you can see about having them plastic welded back in place.
I've seen some crazy stuff over the years when on a budget.
Like melting zip-ties on the back side to repair a cracked bumper.

RH Upper: 81193-53020
RH Lower: 81195-53010 (Closer to the grille)
LH Upper: 81194-53010
LH Lower: 81196-53020

Those are for an IS but they might work.

I knew they were for a different model, and not the LX. Very tempting, but I wonder how I can tell if they would work.

Again, any and all legitimate suggestions are welcome.
