Need help on advice replacing LX470 2002 seats
I am the owner of a 2002 LX470 with 161,000 miles. Car looks brand new on the outside with a few cosmetic issues I can easily address. The driver and passenger front seats however show major wear. Any advice where to start to find replacement seats? I just called a place that has a "refurbishment package" for all the leather seats at a steep $1500.00. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hope this helps, AND I hope you have a place local that you might be able to score a deal also!

I'm in the same boat. 1998 LX470 with 220,000 miles. I just ordered new seat covers (replaces the old leather, not slips over it) from lseat.com. Cost is much less than you were quoted. It looks like it takes about three weeks to receive the new covers because they make them to order, rather than keep them in stock. I'll try and post up a how-to when I install them and give my opinions on the quality/ease of installation when complete.

So I did get the seat covers in finally. Lseat.com was at the long end of their quoted time, and when they showed up, they did not have the perforated inserts like I had ordered. It was pretty painful trying to communicate with the company because they never answer their phone, take several days to answer e-mail, and dont ever update their order status page. After all said and done, you get what you pay for and for and I was looking for a cheap option to recover my torn seats. Here is a little teaser of the before and after while I put together a how-to post on the full process.
