how much for cutting a spare key LX450 2001?
I have a lexus 2001 LX450 and we only have 1 master key. I ordered a blanked key from ebay and now I am having hard time to find shop that cuts it. Can I take the blank to dealer and get it cut? How much would it cost? I've asked locksmith in the area and they want $65 because it's a laser cut. is $65 is a reasonable price or should it be lowered?

i paid 100 for my eternity key and case. It is $200 from concord lexus for a new transponder/key and programming. So I'm guessing your cost isn't to bad. I remember once I had a key cut for a scion, cost me 20 bucks.

Granite Lock in Quincy, Ma. charges $22 each to cut a LS-430 key and it is not a laser cut. I had two keys cut at different times and they both work fine. Now need to have them programmed.
