LX 470 fuel pump issues
Hi All
I'm new to this forum im hoping somebody might be able to shed some light on an issue on my lx 470.
I was driving to work the other day and my car cut out it started again and drove a couple of hundred metres and stopped again.
So far i have figured out that its the fuel pumps that are not working if i run power directly to the fuel pump the car starts no problems.
From my understanding the fuel pumps get power from the fuel pump relay located in the left rear of the car which i have tested and works ok. This fuel pump relay is triggered from the main EFI relay which is located in the engine bay which i have tested and seems to work fine.
Im led to believe there is also a fuel pump cut off switch located somewhere under the dash which i can't find anywhere (maybe someone can shed some light on this i have dismantled almost the entire dash to try and find.
Is there anything else i need to check?
There is also another relay located next to the fuel pump relay which gets power when the EFI relay is powered up and im not shure what this does?
I'm now a little lost has anyone had similar problems any info would be good
Thanks
