On both the driver’s and passenger’s side D-Pillars, behind the seat belts for the third row seats, there are strange clear plastic stickers, as shown in the pictures attached. I don’t ever recall seeing same and would like to know what they are! Thoughts, anyone? Thanks.

Only thing I can think of is the SRS air bag stickers/covers some cars have to show the location they deploy from. I couldnt make out any text/writing on the pictures. I am not sure what other stickers would be placed on a vehicle.

I bet someone from the forum with same model car will jump in and say something if it is something that is found on similar models

Yes, they are probably the SRS airbag stickers. Here are the ones from my 2004 LX470.

I looked again and they are not the airbag stickers. I removed one of them and there is nothing underneath. dvlogic: I too have a 2004; do you not see what I am refering to on your trunk? Thanks.

At first I thought it was a crude way filling the hole where an airbag would have deployed, but since you say it's not the airbag I'm thinking that the previous owner had something custom installed and that's their attempt to patch it up.

Have had the truck since new; no prior owners. I removed one of the stickers and it was completely clean underneth; no damage. So no one else with a 2004 has same?

Now that I understand where you were looking, I went back and looked on my truck. I too have the identical oval clear marks behind the seat-belt on the rear column. I'm at a loss as to what they are for. Maybe there is an option, in other countries, for a rear airbag and they would put the SRS marks in those places?

I don't think the stickers have anything to do with airbags, whether or not equipped on our particular models...
