Default Tech Advice...2000 LX470

I read the threads here and didn't really find an answer so here's my question.
I'm going to have the exhaust manifold (cracked) replaced on the passenger side. The car has 112,000 miles. I haven't had any starter problems but should I have the contacts changed since the manifold is off? And, should I replace the driver side manifold too even if I don't think it's leaking? And, do I replace this with an OEM part or is there a superior aftermarket part?
Happy Memorial Day Veterans.
