Default Yes, LX has a bit more sound insulation

It is the top model in the range of LandCruisers and as such has the most sound deadening materials etc. Again, depends on which Land Crusier we are comparing with. If it's 50th Anniversary TLC100 - then it's the same, if it's basic rigid-front-axle TCL100 - the LX is a lot quiter.

Cheers,
Alex

In US, TLC comes only one way...IFS and rear axle. The front axle was on the last generation of TLC. I believe the US-version of the current TLC is the same as the Anniversary edition.

Default Height control

At this time I feel lucky to have purchased a LX470 vs a LC simply because it was cheaper!!! yup cheaper! than a LC. Not to mention has more amenities one of which is the height control that is an advantage not only in approach/departure angles but in rocker/side step protection, lets not mention that its cool watching it go up and down.
Anyone done Rowher Flats in Los Angeles County.

In the used vehicle market, there are more LXs available. The Sequoia affected LC sales, so more LXs are sold and thus more on the used market. Prices tend to be similar, so sometimes an LX costs less. I have owned both and prefer the LX. Some differences include the AHC, cabin air filter (variable in LC), auto air recirculation, mirror reverse tilt down and retracting, Levinson Audio, real wood trim, nicer ride. I did not notice much difference in the leather seating, but the LX is quieter and seems better insulated (not as hot in the summer).

Maybe re-do the thread so the half here that's complete BS can be corrected.

Maybe not a great ideal to keep a necro-thread active.
