Rear a/c blowing warm air?
Hi, I rode on my cousins 02' LX470 and found out the rear was blowing warm air when outside was 90 degrees. I searched this forum and found out this same thread:

Any ideas?

The front A/C is fine?
It may just need another charge. Sometimes systems have a tiny leak and it just gets low after XX months/years. If he does get it charged, they can put dye in there to spot any leaks, and possibly fix it (?)

You should not have to recharge the freon every year or even every 3 years. My old toyota truck had its A/C recharged twice in 24 years. I sold a 2000 honda crv and 2001 honda prelude last year and this year, respectively, and both were on their original factory charge of R34a. My wife's LX is still on it's original late 2002 factory charge. The fact you have to recharge it points to a leak. I'd have it dye tested. If the rear is blowing warm but the front is blowing cold, I would guess the lines from the compressor to the rear blower have a leak.

Ok, stupid question but I had the EXACT same thing...on the drivers side rear door...look on the ceiling about 12 inches towards the back of the truck and see the small temp control panel. When I bought my truck the vents were blowing major hot air in the back. I found out the control was turned up to the hottest setting. Did you check that? Bear in mind...I had my AC checked out as well and this may be your issue. Just a thought :-)
