We just traded in our 98-LX470 at 119k miles for 05-LX470 with 27k miles. I thought 2001 model and up is HID, but they're not. I am thinking about the replacement of OEM light bulbs with the PIAA super Plasma 7500k for my 05-LX470 truck. Hoping that some one has been using that light bubls could tell me about their experiences on this 7500k PIAA light bulbs. Are they brighter, last longer, and safe for the electrical wire in the LX470 truck. Any thing that you could tell about experiences that you have on this PIAA is very much appreciated, and will be very helpful to me. Thank you for your time, help, and sharing.

Most of the LX headlights run 55watts. DO NOT go over 55watts you will burn the small gauge wire for the headlights. Just a suggestion *wink*

In my experience the LX's lights are as good or actually better than some other cars I had or still have with OEM HIDs.

Thanks for your input, Havock and Akock.
I think that I will go with its original oem bulbs, eventhough it is not as brigh as we want it to be. After more than a week searching for the PIAA light bulb on the web, I just found out that PIAA bulb does not last long as OEM bulb. So as your experience - Akock - we keep using the orginal light until we decide that it is worth or not to upgrade the system to HID from Lexus. Thank you to you all and have a good night.
