Default LX470 Rear Brake Sound

Hey guys,

Having this problem recently where I took the car to change the brake pads but now when you step on the brake moving from idle state you'll hear the sound of the rear brakes as if they're stuck and gettin lose when the car starts moving.

I took it back to the mechanic and he told me there rust around there, else everything is fine.

Still thinking that rust will not have anything to do with it.

Any Help...

if the mechanic fail to apply/spray (not sure what they are called) on top of metal plates that holds the pad, you can get this sound. this stuff stop frictions and sound when you press the break pedal.

if you replaced only the pads without turning the rotars you can get this sound from uneven ware.

hope this help

Dont suppose you have salted snowy roads in Dubai over the last few millenia. They probably just have grime that needs to be cleaned off. Seriously doubt that it would be rust?
