Swapping 18 inch wheels for 16 inch wheels?

Will 16 inch wheels fit on a 2006 LX470 without any issues? Will the tire inflation sensors fit on the 16 inch wheels?

Good question - I'm looking at doing the same thing. I have an 04 LX and I want to buy some 16" wheels from an 02 LX to mount some snow tires and want to make sure they will fit w/ no issues before buying. I'll guess we'll wait to see if anyone has done this and can confirm.

Yes, the OEM 16" wheels will fit. Don't know about the inflation sensors.

I put 16 inch tlc rims with snow on my 04 lx this winter and it worked great. Ride was much smoother.

If anything they'd more likely fit in a 16" from a 18" then a 18" from a 16".

Yes 16" wheels fit on 98-07s, and minimal size on the new 08+ is 17" apparently.
