when my mom accelerates, there is a ticking noise, anyone know wat this is??

If it is ticking when you first start it in the morning then it is a cracked manifold. If it ticks after it gets warmed up it is just the exhaust system that is stainless steel which is normal. I can hear mine tick if I roll down the windows while the LX is running after it is warm. Hope that helps
