The JX is the rumored new Lexus SUV based on the Sequoia platform.

hmmmm, i thought those rumors had been squelched with the announcement of the lx570 which is still land cruiser based?

i heard from my dealer it was going to be jx...is that wrong? is it actually lx still ???

My lexus dealer told me it was going to be LX570....Does every dealer not know for sure???

There's just not a lot of reliable info out there right now. About the most reliable thing I've seen (other than engineering mule photos) is that Lexus has trademarked the following:

LX600
LX590
LX570
LX550
LX520

So apparently they're offering various motors, or for differing markets, are muddying the water for their competitors, or they themselves are not sure.

However, Lexus HAS NOT trademarked a JXxxx designation (that I know of).

the info i have received from the factory is that it will be the lx570

although there are many possible names for the model replacing the Lx470 out there, i think LX570 is most reasonable..

well, its too late to trade for another lexus, it would have been wise to do that before you hit 60k. i would just drive it for now and dispose of it before the new one comes next december
