Which brembo big brake calipers? I've seen the Ferrari F40 ones that'll fit 16" wheels (IIRC) and F50 ones for 18" or larger wheels. To notice a big difference, you need the ones for the 18" wheels (larger rotors). IMHO, the best bang for the buck is a quality slotted rotor, possibly cryo treated, and quality pads like the Porterfields. The stock brakes on the LX are pretty good already. FWIW, the front calipers & pads on the '03+ LX's were beefed up for the larger 18" wheels.

If I was going to change my brakes I would go with DBA!

I prefer stock/OEM brakes and pads. The aftermarket stuff I've used hasn't garnered any better results.
The LX is big and heavy...it's not going to stop on a dime...regardless of what you put on it.
