Block Heater
had a block heater installed the other day....works well.....easier on the car at startup and takes only a fraction of the time to get the interior heat working!
$130 installed.

i guess the block heater is a good idea for the cars in garage. however remote start would be the way to go for those who dont keep the cars in the garage overnight.
does the block heater have a timer built in to go on / off during the night or does it stay on all the time ?

acutally my 470 is currently out in the elements due to the garage being full of construction materials (remodel), an Aprilia Caponord and a sports car......no matter as the garage is not heated just yet. my block heater doenst have a timer, just plug and play. shortly i will end up with the block heater and the remote start till the garage is useable and warm.

terry
