Just noticed on my 99 lx that the rear bumper sits rarely seperated from the lift gate, my ? is to you guys is
their suppose to be somewhat an 1/2 inch gap in between the gate and bumper?
Also seems that my paint is chipping somewhat around the liscense plate any suggestions on what to do guys?

i went out and looked at mine and when i let the tailgate down there was about a 1/2 inch space in the middle right above the trailer hitch. the space gets larger as you move closer to the end of the tailgate. hope this helps some.

also about the paint chips, i bought a touch up pen from Auto Sharp Pen.com that works very well.

I thought it was just me, but the 1/2 inch sounds right, I will definitely check the website to get that touch up
paint.

Sorry pete hit the wrong icon, no problem ordering from autosharppen.com, 17 bucks for the pen not bad,
I have the woodland pearl, so my color match is the gray opal mica, I 'm located in Grosse Pointe Michigan.
