Default Any way to stop automatic rear seat retraction?

For those of you with the rear seat upgrade package, you've probably noticed that if you recline the rear seats and then open the door, the seats automatically retract into their upright position. I assume this is to allow a person to more-easily get out of the car. However, I've noticed that a baby seat that we use contours to the seat much better when the seat is in the reclined position. What I don't like, though, is tensioning the baby seat while the rear seat is in the reclined position and then every time I open the rear door the the whole thing starts to shift. I have to rush to press the seat adjustment button in the center console to override seat movement, which is a bit of a pain.

So with all that, is there a way to have the rear seats stay in the adjusted position regardless of whether your door is open or not.

Thanks.

I do not believe you can disable this feature.

I believe you should be able to modify that setting through the Carista app. Don't quote me, though, since I haven't actually tried it.

The 'C' button should do what you're asking for. It's either on/off... I forget if the light needs to be on or off... Just click it once after you set the seat and open the door to see what happens.

As stated above, press the C button. With the green light on it will disable making the seat upright when opening door

I guess you learn something new everyday. So what does 'C' mean?

If I had to take a guess, perhaps it means "clear".
As in when clearing/interrupting the default programmed logic to return upright, once C is pressed, the process stops.
Just a guess...
This forum is simply awesome!
