Cleaning the dust on the cluster...
Guys,
I've yet to clean the interior of my car since I bought it, except for vacuuming the carpet. I'm getting some dust build up on the cluster area.
I don't want to wipe it with a cloth, I'm concerned the glass / plastic lens over the instrument cluster (not sure that term is common, but that's the way the speedometer area is referred to in automotive engineering) will get swirl marks.
How do you guys clean this area without putting swirl marks in the instrument cluster lens?

Spray the cluster with 303 Protectant or Meguiars Interior Detailer, (or similar). Then wipe with a microfiber cloth (the more plush the better). If you wish, you could spray the area with a can of compressed air that you can get in any photo or computer store. Worst case scenario, if you do get any swirls, they can be polished out with plastic polish.

I agree with Roadfrog's method for a thorough cleaning, but for frequent upkeep I use Swiffer Dusters. They pick up the dust without any rubbing on the surfaces.
