Hey gang-

In my thread in the 4GS forum about my move someone asked how the high beams on the LS work. So, I decided to take some pics to show them. I made an interesting discovery. On the base HID headlamp assembly, the inside projectors do not seem to function. Are they just in the housing for looks? The lights are bi-xenon, which means the same projector serves as low and high beam, just like my 4GS...only the GS only had one projector in each housing.

On my '08, those are the DRL's

The DRLs on the 2013-2015 are the LED strips at the bottom of the headlamps.

I believe if equipped, they will emit infrared light used for the night vision system...

Interesting...I would think that any car with the NV system would have the LED lights...
