Default Buying an LS without the recall being done

Greetings my friends in club Lexus
First I would like to start by giving my sincere thanks and gratidues to everyone who is contributing to this awesome club. It is really a great place for all Lexus fans around the world...

Regarding my issue, I am living outside the U.S. , and I came across a fantastic 2007 LS460 with 122k miles...
The car is imported from the U.S. with very clean history, but the problem is that when I checked the NHTSA website, it was stated that the recall was incomplete...

I also checked in the Lexus.com for service history and the car seems that it didn't face any major problems...

Overall the car is really good, but I'm afraid of the recall that issue...

So what do you think? Should I go for it?
Please advise

I wouldn't too worry about the recall as I am under the impression that any lexus dealer worldwide would take care of thatfree of charge (just call/email lexus corp to validate in your region and also please note that there has been a previous recall that should have done 2 or 3 years ago as well, all listed undercthe sticky section). Now, since it's an '07 there are quite a few things that should need attention and can be pricey like the infamous front lower and upper arms bushing, potentially the water pump etc... Again, best bet is to go over the TSIBs under the sticky section.

Thank you for your reply LS2k

I've contacted my local Lexus dealer and they've stated that they are not responsible for any US vehicles...

it seems that I should pass on this one...

Lots of info still needed......

So, which recalls are we tal;king about? The most recent one? If so, then I wouldn't worry about that one. If we're talking about the earlier recall for the valve springs, then I would be more concerned. Are you bringing the vehicle back to the U.S? If so, then you can have the recalls done when you return.

Is it a particularly good price?

As per NHTSA website, the vehicle only has the fuel leak gasket problem recall...

No, I do not plan to bring it to the U.S.

The asking price is around $ 25000 which is fairly good where I'm staying (UAE)

I'm starting to think about a CPO 2013 Avalon or the new Impala since I'm really close to their price tag plus I get warranty...

It would also be subject to the earlier valve springs recall.
You may be able to see if this recall was already performed on lexus.com

I have checked the service history in lexus.com and there's no mention of any recall campaign.. Too risky
