Default Step-by-Step: Data System, Air Suspension Lowering Module Installation--LS460 how to

Well, this is my first official new thread I'm posting on CL (Club Lexus) forums, and am proud to be able to contribute ,

Gents like CJITTY, Tee, FreddyG, LexFather, Johnny and JoniNguyen have provided me the information, time and support, enabling me to tackle this fun little first project.

I will start with a few pics, and then populate the thread a little here-and-there as time permits. I will eventually provide detailed descriptions of the installation to help the reader.

Some of the basics...
  • 2007 LS460-L, Executive Package
  • Data System, ASC680L controller
  • Data System, H-087G wiring harness

Ok, i have put off installing the module in the tray just because when I go in for warranty work, I want to be able to quickly remove it...but this looks so damn good that I may have to rethink this...that looks absolutely perfect!! And I see what you did there...a little custom paint to blend in better....very nice!

Can you post your step by step starting with the installation of the unit into the ashtray please? It looks well-blended in there.

Thanks.

Much appreciated, Tee and yes you should install the damn thing in your ashtray. I feel our cars are too nice to simply lay it in the g.box (although the quick removal (from the dealer's eyes) is the one compelling argument).
