Default Rear bumper mark, any way to marginalize it?

Garage door clipped my rear bumper. Got a mark a few inches long vertically on the bumper where the bumper material was marked about an eighth or sixteenth of an inch deep. Any way to reduce the visual impact of this mark?

I'm not sure how bad your mark is, but I have taken out a few scratches and scuffs using this method. Even front bumper scratches received from a concrete column.

That's pretty deep and more than likely thru the paint. If it's really that deep, I wouldn't try anything yourself as you'll just probably make it worse.
