Default Shaving Rear quarter panels

Can i shave the quarters to the edge or will it split like the older gs and ls.

Not sure about splitting but I would worry about structural integrity in that area if any weight were put on the quarters/arches area. Hopefully those that did a complete shave chime in here

On mine we shaved it down to about 3/16" remaining, applied paint and all is good

Yes I mean the wheel arches I want to shave instead of rolling just worried if the wheel arches at the double wall where it splits and seperates like the older lexus vehicles

Shaved mine to about an 1/8" also and painted it with underbody coating. No problems yet.
I can remember if it's a double wall or not. Might be and that's the reasons why we left an 1/8" remaining and for some support.
