Help: 2010 LS460 Sport Vs 2010 AWD w/ Appearance Package?
I'm battling between these two.. Help me decide
I'm in the process of purchasing a use LS460. I'm glued to the Sport Package, but cant decide weather I prefer an AWD. Both vehicles are equipped with Air Suspension and Mark Levinson Audio.
2010 - LS460 Sport - $34700 (CPO 2yr/100k) - 32k miles - From Frisco, TX - Never been exposed to salt

2010 - LS460 AWD w/ Appearance Package - $33445 - 32k miles - From Queens, NY - Supposedly been exposed to salt

I went through the same decision process. I picked the Sport, and am happy. Sport has:
- Brembo brakes
- 19" forged wheels
- More supportive seats
- Full leather door panels
- The IS-F transmission with paddle-shifting and rev-matching
- A full-leather smaller-diameter steering wheel
If you are in TN you don't need AWD, and since RWD is lighter & has lower drivetrain friction it achieves better fuel economy than the AWD version. It also has slightly more horsepower due to a less-restrictive exhaust system.
Not to mention the lack of salt spray corrosion underneath.
Just a few thoughts....

thanks for the input... The dealer accepted my offer. I'll be bringing home a 2010 LS460 Sport Edition in a couple weeks.
I just sold my baby a few weeks ago (2004 Acura TL 6MT) and I currently have a 98 LS400 as my daily, but definitely excited to see what the 460 is all about.
