Morimoto XB Xengreen 5k bulbs from these guys:
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/

They are highly rated, perform flawlessly and at a great price. Many here at CL use them.

Yes highly recommended, although if you have the extra pocket money, go for the Philips 6K, also available from TRS.

I would never get 6k personally. Too blue and too ricer. 5k is perfect (for me)...bright white.

The Philips are also way overpriced. Here's a Youtube test of both side by side. The Morimotos are a winner.

I'm currently using the garax 6000k bulbs works good and color doesn't fades plus it's not blueish like other brand. I Had similar bulbs on my ls430 for over 3yrs

Just FYI and hopefully helpful, I had my Toyota dealer replace one headlight bulb. Cost was $387 and took 3+ hours of labor. Its great that you can DIY. Let us know how it goes. My other one is about gone and I may attempt a DIY on this one.

Woke up at 2am after a early bedtime got bored, went out into the garage and installed the Xengreen's. Easy install did both sides in about an hour. Light output is pretty dang good with no lag in turn on time.
A lot easier if you remove the wheels... also gave me a chance to look at those dreaded control arms. Mine are starting to deteriorate. I'm at about 81k miles.

Say what??? They took you for a ride bro. I've seen techs do this in less than 20 min total for both sides by getting up on lift , access behind fender liner, reach up and swap bulbs. Wow....sad to hear about broad daylight robberies like this

Went to the trs site. Only see 4500k, 5500k, and 6500k. Are you guys talking about the 5500k?
