Anyway while mousing around on their website I found another website that shows how to build up your own Techstream for Toyota products.

Those are probably the 'kit' with earlier software and the smart cable between the laptop and OBD2 .

The software on the URL I provided just came out in February...and it's a free download.

Can I use the ELM327 WiFi interface with this techstream SW?

Nope, for Techstream you need a J2534 cable (via USB) and a Windows XP computer.

For an alternative that uses an ELM327 device, check my signature

And the kit works perfectly and comes with the cable. Now if the cable can be had for less than $25 along with a free download....even better
