There's another thread on the forum that has indicators that other Lexus dealers were putting pressure on corporate because of Sewell's discounted sales to preferred online groups like CL. Pressure, like snow, rolls down hill.

In that thread there's a response from the Sewell representative that coordinates the CL relationship (I think that's his role) that indicates that online sales will be available after 3/1, but the prices will be at standard retail.

Sad.

Well, there's full retail price, regular discount online price, and CL discount price. They're switching to full retail?

+1 on that. At times reputable Ebay sellers had certain items priced at Sewell's CL forum price or lower, but of course they don't have the full complement of OEM parts.

Another Lexus dealer online parts site whose pricing is about the same as Sewell's CL price is Lexus of South Atlanta. I found it to be pretty close. So it's just how far you are from Atlanta regarding the shipping charges.

I believe their normal online price is already similar to Sewell's CL forum price. I don't recall it being any special discounted price based on CL forum membership

So all is not lost. UNLESS they clamp down on them too. However, I'm willing to bet that if you call directly to Sewells and order parts, that they'll still gove you a discount. It just won;t be through a specialized website or advertised
