I recommend ALL the options. Plus, a .40 caliber Glock makes a nice addition to the console box. You're welcome!
Now tell us, what's your parting feeling of the beemer?

This is a Lexus LS460/600 forum, not a Second Amendment forum.

Being in Hawaii you can forget the AWD, and just go RWD. Other than that, get everything you can afford. I don't know if you would even need heated seats there. haha Get the Mark Levinson, and no matter what, be sure to post pictures.

I can't more strongly recommend the radar cruise control. Being on Hawaii you might not think you need it, but you would be amazed at how well it works on even normal access roads.

I thought about it but we really wouldn't use it here in Hawaii.

RWD for me and yes, heated seats not really but I'm getting the cooled seats too and ML is a must have.

I miss the M but now that I'm getting older, 33, I want a car that I can just chill and cruise in.

I chose the LS over an S550, 750i or A8 because I want a car that would last me 15 years and age well.

Well obviously I don't know the roads you will drive on, so you may certainly be correct. However, if you drive for distances on secondary roads (for some reason my post read 'access' roads) you would be amazed at how well radar cruise control works.

Based on your statement, "I want a car that I can just chill and cruise in. , you may really appreciate radar cc. I would advise you to check any car dealers that have one in stock, such as Infiniti or MB. Take a test drive and use the system.

It's been a few years since I've driven in Hawaii, but I can tell you if I was there and had to buy a car, it would have that option.

Nospinzone = In Hawaii it's kind of like Talladega Superspeedway. If you want to go some place that is to the right, you have to turn left and go around the island. But it only takes like 5 minutes to get back to the place on the right. And all the roads go counter-clockwise.

That's also why he doesn't want radar cruise. By the time they get up to interstate speed, they're already there. He'd never have the chance to set the cruise.

E92 - I strongly dislike the radar cruise. The only time I use it is to confirm ... yep, I still don't like it. So now, when I get on the road, I push the Cruise On button then push the lever forward. Ahhhhhh sweet relief ... normal cruise control.

I must be having maturity problems. I'm 43. I still have a Mazda RX-7 sitting in the garage, and love to rip around in it. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a center console box for my Glock. I have to use the glove box.

I didn't do a good job explaining the usefulness of radar cc. Forget interstates and think two lane secondary roads with speed limits of 30-50 mph.

I regularly drive back roads and use the radar cc. I'll set it for a few mph above the speed limit and just cruise. If I get behind a car that varies in speed, no problem, the radar cc keeps me a set distance behind without having to constantly adjust my speed by braking or accelerating.

I hope this better explains its usefulness. I will never buy a new daily driver car without it.
