Okay now I'm about ready to give up on the 600h and go for a 460. Color over hybrid. But it seems like all of the 600hs would have been shipped fully loaded so there could be a lot of other features you're getting in a used 600 over a 460? I know you guys can save me a lot of time. What do you think? I love hybrids not only for the gas mileage which I know is not great on the 600 but also just cause w/ the minimal emissions- so much less exhaust. And the quiet ride, etc.
What am I passong up by going w/ an LS 460 vs a 600h?

Last one wound think all custom orders for 600's would be loaded but that is not the case, I have seen a few with only rear reclining seats far rear seat options. It depends what the buyer decides which features are worth it.

Be patient. I waited about 30 days before I ended up buying my 600...I got a great deal on mine and persistence pays off.. But the very next day ..day 31...after i took ownership, my top choice of white color became available and I missed out on that deal. So just wait...let a broker do the work as well. But you HAVE to do your homework. And if all else fails, find one of a different color and paint it that color lol...big money, you got it! Haha

Yes forget in my late night typing. It is really hard to find one. The problem is one of my clients has one in Vertigris that he got through carguru so I had the idea I could find a color other than the standard ones and I love Nobel Spinel so maybe I'll end up an LS 460 but the whole point was to get this incredible 600 h for under $40K! I am a real estate agent so the back seat room is really helpful even it I get the 460. Everyone should have such problems right?
thanks all,

The 600hL market is funny. At some point, you might see 50 or 60 at one time on AutoTrader (and other sites); other times, you may see 20 or 25. Ditto for eBay (5 yesterday, 6 the day before, 0 about a month ago - yes, I still look, just for fun).
In addition to the sites that have been mentioned (including CarMax), I would also look at iseecars.com. While most cars here are also listed elsewhere, there are some additional tidbits of information here, such as days on market and price history.
The rare colors are out there, and while they exist in 2010+ models (I came across three during my search, one with very few options, strangely), your chances are best for MY2008, the only year that the 600 was not special-order only.

For a moment, I wondered why I only got an email about the blue one (posted earlier) and nothing about this one, and then remembered I had set the search to 10+.
