Default Taking 1000 mile round trip

Hey guys! Taking my first long trip in my LS460 since I've owned it. Traveling from memphis tn to indianapolis in. The last trip up there I took my is250 and it was nice but nowhere near as comfortable as my LS460 would have been. Looking forward to the trip. We leave out Friday morning!

I've made that trip. It was many moons ago in a 1980 Volvo DL. Have a safe trip. See ya back in Memphis. ( did you watch that game tonight?)

Your trip will be quiet, smooth and comfortable. The LS is outstanding, so enjoy the journey.

Interesting. Just the other day I was telling a few buddies that I'd like to take a "4 Corners" trip around the country for about a month or so. L.A. - Grand Canyon - Austin - New Orleans - Orlando - Miami - Key West - DC - NYC - Newport, RI - Cleveland (visit old neighborhood) - Mt Rushmore - Seattle - San Fran and home again. We all agreed that the Cloud (as my friends call my LS) would be the perfect magic carpet.

Sounds great. I too have been wanting to take a long road trip. Went on one last year from Ma to NC then to Texas.

Only downside is I was in a Chevy Cobalt...It was a nightmare. Dropped the car off to my son and flew back.

I did a trip from ATL to Memphis to St Louis back to Memphis and Atlanta and I must say.. I felt as refreshed at each leg as if I took a flight. My 600 with radar cruise with the comfort air suspension setting was amazing...enjoy

Recently took a trip from Miami to Biloxi. About 780 miles each way and it was a breeze. As CJITTY said, I felt fresh even though we only made one stop each way. Gotta love the fuel economy too. I'd done 500 mile round trips many times between Miami and Orlando but this one really got the stretch the legs the LS.

I made two trips to DE from Atlanta, and one from Plano, TX to Atlanta. Every trip felt like I was driving my den, no fatigue just great MPG's and a relaxing ride. The LS is built to be a road warrior out on the open interstates, have fun blowing the carbon out and stretching her legs!

That's awesome have fun! I have never done a "trip" in my car yet, although I'm planning on doing one this summer. I have however put almost 1,000 miles on my car this week...I'm at 700 this morning and the week is still young.

I made 1000 mi rt in my wife's 2010 Honda accord, then in my 460. World of difference! Wasn't at all tired or stove up like in the Honda plus I got 29 MPG round trip. Amazing car. Have a safe trip!

I go from wv to fl (roughly 900 miles each way) in my car this past 2 winters and loves it. The handling, ride comfort, and quite cabin sometime makes me want to fall asleep lol have a safe trip

Hey guys! All went well on the trip. Smooth, quiet, good gas mileage. I averaged 27mpg at about 80 mph.
