Default I'm stumped, guess the cause of the fire

I thought this was pretty interesting, worthy of discussion and wild speculation.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-LEXUS-LS460-ENGINE-4-6L-VIN-L-5TH-DIGIT-1UR-FSE-ENG-AWD-720369-/291333131009?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ALS460&hash=item43d4cecb01&vxp=mtr

My guess is that a jealous co-worker or girlfriend dumped an accelerant on the front and lit a match. What's yours.

I'll agree with you. Some sort of accelerant was used on the front left side.

I like this one or some variant. Seems like some kind of a fuel issue would be the most likely cause.

The only cars I know that spontaneously combust are those that are modified because of shoddy wiring and parts that are not tested for fire safety when they fail.

My guess is that due to the support member being pushed in on the passenger side (more than the driver side anyway), is that it collided in some way with another vehicle (or gas pump?). And it remained in contact with what it hit. And at some point what it hit caught fire. Due to the close proximity of what it hit being on fire, it burnt / melted the front of the LS.

That's my thinking...

Looks like it got to close to the back of an Aventador...
