Driving LS 460 in Comfort and ECT Power Mode All the Time
Will there be a problem if I drive my Lexus LS 460 in the Comfort mode and ECT Power mode all the time. I like the Comfort mode because of the luxury ride feel and I like the ECT Power mode because of the faster acceleration. The car has air suspension and it is 2010 model. Thanks.

Lol! Trust me I know how addictive & fun driving with the ECT/PWR engaged, when I'm in the mood instead Comfort I use Sport and the car dropped to level 3 via Data System controller.

I miss those options that I had on the 2012 LWB with air suspension. On the 2014 you have a choice of Comfort or Sport/Sport+. There is no way (That I know off) to have Comfort and the Power option anymore.

Question: How does the new LS 460 (in your case the 2014) overall compare to the 2012 LS 460? I assume the technology is superior on the new LS 460 but how about the other aspects?

They are more or less the same car. Lexus did not change any of the major components so they drive about the same. Audio quality is slightly better than the 2010 - 2012 LS and worse than 2007 - 2009 LS.

You guys will flame me I am sure, but I'm totally convinced that both the ECT/COMFORT, HIGH AND LOW air shocks thing and SNOW or NO SNOW buttons are dummy buttons. Psychological only.

hah..its got enough miles now where I don't think it can do 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, as the brochure originally states...but almost 400 horsepower while draped in luxury, its a feeling like no other
Fortunately, at the way gas prices are (here in Dallas, it is $2.06 for a gallon of 93 octane) I can afford to drive spirited a little more often!
